Under the Liquor Licensing Act 1997, when an application is lodged with this office to apply for the approval of a new licence, certain requirements must be met prior to that application being heard by the licensing authority.

Advertising and Notification
Once the minimum documents specific to an application is lodged with Consumer and Business Services a time will be set to hear the application. The applicant will be informed in writing of the hearing date and time.
Consumer and Business Services will provide advertising directions of applications as prescribed by the Liquor Licensing Act 1997.
