Unlicensed car dealer due in court – CBS News

An Elizabeth Vale man accused of acting as an unlicensed second-hand vehicle dealer is due to appear in court in May charged with breaching South Australia’s Second-hand Vehicle Dealers Act.

Under the Act, anyone who sells or exchanges more than four second-hand cars over a 12 month period needs a licence under the Second Hand Vehicle Dealers Act.

It will be alleged the Elizabeth Vale man bought 27 second-hand vehicles in 12 months and sold or exchanged 25 of them.

The matter is due in court on 4 May.
