Applications to reduce trading rights and COVID-19 reductions

The liquor licensing team has received an influx of applications from licensees wanting to reduce their trading rights in order to reduce their annual fees.

The team has also received an influx of applications from licensees who are applying for a reduction in their annual fees under the support scheme announced by the Government.

Due to the level of applications, the team may not be able to respond to your query immediately.

If your applications is lodged prior to 30 June 2021, you will not be penalised for not making payment by 30 June 2021.

Once your application is processed, the team will notify you and reissue an amended annual fee invoice which reflects your revised trading rights. You will then have 14 days to pay your reissued invoice.
