The Residential Bonds Online (RBO) system was relaunched on Monday 13 May with a fresh modern look, improved navigation and simplified processes.
The new RBO system aims to improve your experiences with Consumer and Business Services (CBS) and simplify the processes for lodgement and refunding of bonds for domestic rental properties in South Australia.
Key benefits of the new RBO system:
- refund proposals can now be withdrawn, disputed or countered with an alternative offer giving tenants and agents more control over the negotiation process.
- agents can now search the system for existing tenant accounts, making it easier to attach their details to a bond.
- increased prominence of bank account details to support the greater use of EFT transactions and reduce unclaimed bonds.
RBO will now be website responsive making it easy to use across a range of devices including Apple and Android phones and tablets.
The new RBO system also has improved security keeping personal information safe from fraud and identity theft by incorporating the Commonwealth Government’s Digital Verification Service (DVS). The DVS will require new users to verify their identity using a range of government approved document i.e. Drivers licence, Medicare card, Australian Passport before accessing the RBO system.
