Liquor and Gaming Online

The Transitional Liquor and Gaming Online portal will help you through the transition of your liquor licences.

Through the portal you can:

  • update your details
  • review and accept your updated licence category
  • explore different options to reduce your annual liquor licence fee.

The portal is available until 31 August 2019.  Any changes to your licence must be submitted by this date.

After this date you can view your licenses in the portal but can’t make any changes.

Licences not transitioned by this date will automatically transition to their new licence class in November 2019.

Creating your account

To register as a new user, create an account  and complete all fields including your name, address and contact details.

These should be your details and not those of the licenced premises.

Please ensure the email address provided is one that you have access to as you will need to confirm your portal account details via a verification email that we’ll send you.

It will also be used to keep you informed of any changes that may affect your business going forward.

If you don’t receive an email verification after creating your account, please contact us at liquorlicensingreform [at] sa.gov.au.

Tip: check your inbox junk or spam folder  in case it has been misfiled.

Resetting your password

Reset your account password using the email address used to create your account.

If you don’t receive a password reset email, please contact us at liquorlicensingreform [at] sa.gov.au.

Tip: check your inbox junk or spam folder in case it has been misfiled.

Accessing and linking your licences

Once you’re registered, we’ll email you a PIN which you can use to link your licence to your account and instructions about what to do next.

Your PIN is unique to your licence. If you have business partners or are seeking assistance from a solicitor you can share this PIN with them so they can link your licence to their accounts.

NOTE: Though a licence can be linked to more than one user account, only one user can transition a licence.

Once a user begins to transition a licence, no other users will be able to transition the licence.  Other users will have read-only access as the licence is being transitioned.

If you have business partners or intend to seek assistance from a legal representative, you may wish to discuss with them who will carry out the licence transition from the beginning.

Need some help?

While we hope the portal is easy to use, detailed information about transitioning your licence can be found on the liquor portal help page.
