International Security Officers’ Day 2023 will be celebrated on Monday 24th July – a day to recognise and say ‘thank you’ to security officers for the role they perform in helping to keep us safe.

Security officers provide important services such as guarding property or people, crowd control, and providing and maintaining security systems. They have a high level of training as their work can involve a degree of risk and they need to be prepared for any situation that might arise.

We join with others across Australia and New Zealand and in countries across Asia, Europe and the Americas that celebrate this international day, to thank security officers for the important work they do.
