More than 70 venues across South Australia will be open and welcoming fans for Saturday morning’s clash between Australia and Egypt in the World Cup.

Pubs and hospitality venues throughout the state have been able to apply for free short-term liquor licenses for the entirety of the World Cup.

With the match set to take place in the early hours of Saturday morning when venues would normally be closed, the short-term liquor licences allow them to extend their hours of operation.

78 venues across South Australia including in the CBD, the suburbs and in regional South Australia have all had their free application to welcome soccer fans approved.

The Adelaide Live Site at the Drive will also be open from 3am, ahead of a 3.30am kick-off.

The massive 12x7 metre screen will return so fans can catch all the action.

There will be an MC and a DJ to get the party started with food and beverages including coffee and bacon and egg rolls available to purchase.
